Parts of this track are gone. Because the majority of it was the local
Autobahn, the pit area doesn't appear to have been preserved. All I saw

I have included information about the track prior
to Ayrton Senna's death. However, I know they are remodeling and
changing the layout again. I don't have those changes.

Wikipedia says this track was completed in just six weeks. It only
hosted a few events. Two were F1 races, but only one counted for
championship points. In that race, a driver was badly burned in a crash
and died six days later. The track was never used since. It has been 50
years, so accuracy took a hit. The entire paddock area appears to be
completely gone. I can't be certain of the position of the track due to
the intervening years. My track positions are based on the positions of

includes 2 overlays (one for each configuration of the main track), two
go kart tracks, a drag strip, turns for the main track and the main go

In addition to the track used for the 24 hours of Le Mans, I also
included the Bugatti Circuit, two layers, two (or three depending on
how you look at it) go kart tracks, and an oval of unknown use. I also
noticed the location of a golf course inside the Circuit des 24 Heures

My name is Will Pittenger. I have been making KMZ sets for Google Earth for a long time. After I starting making those, I wanted overlays for my sets. I was unsatisfied with the accuracy of the images available at Wikimedia Commons. So I started making my own with Inkscape and uploading them. Then I needed a place for anyone that liked my KMZ sets and/or maps to find others. For a while, a simple blog sufficed. But, once I started getting requests, I knew I needed something better.
