This street racing track originally ran around Lago Sur in 2008. That
route was twisty with few straights and those were short. In 2009, they
switched to a completely unrelated route farther north. Not only was
it unrelated, but the new route was given a completely different
character. Forget twists. Instead, it was basically something like
AVUS with kink in the middle: Run down a street, turn around and drive
back where you turn around again.
For both layouts, I included
map overlays, a polygon for the track layout, a path for pit road,
placemarks for each turn, and more. You can get the KMZ

My name is Will Pittenger. I have been making KMZ sets for Google Earth for a long time. After I starting making those, I wanted overlays for my sets. I was unsatisfied with the accuracy of the images available at Wikimedia Commons. So I started making my own with Inkscape and uploading them. Then I needed a place for anyone that liked my KMZ sets and/or maps to find others. For a while, a simple blog sufficed. But, once I started getting requests, I knew I needed something better.
