New KMZ file added - Will Pittenger's stuff for Google Earth and maps

My name is Will Pittenger. I have been making KMZ sets for Google Earth for a long time. After I starting making those, I wanted overlays for my sets. I was unsatisfied with the accuracy of the images available at Wikimedia Commons. So I started making my own with Inkscape and uploading them. Then I needed a place for anyone that liked my KMZ sets and/or maps to find others. For a while, a simple blog sufficed. But, once I started getting requests, I knew I needed something better. This site is the result. You are welcome to set up an account. Some activities are for registered users only. Take your time poking around and let me know what you think.

KMZ for Canberra Street Circuit

There were a lot of questions, but I ended up deciding to include a series of placemarks listing them. Otherwise, I guessed the route as best I could. I included my map of the track as an overlay, placemarks for each turn, placemarks for each street used, a polygon for the track, a path for pit road, and more. You can get the KMZ here.

Queensland Raceway's KMZ set is done

I included overlays for all 4 known configurations, length data, and placemarks for each turn. I also added 25 configurations for the kart track that is part of the complex. It also has turn placemarks. You can get the set here.

Adelaide has two circuits -- both now have kMZ sets

Please don't confuse this permanent track on the outskirts of Adelaide with the street circuit that is inside Adelaide proper. I included an overlay, 3 polygons for track configurations, turn placemarks, and more. You can get the set here.

Barbagallo Raceway is done

This track in Australia hosts series like the V8 Supercars. I included an overlay, 3 polygons for track configurations, 2 paths for pit road options (2 different paddocks), and placemarks for each turn. I then added information for a nearby kart track. That includes 8 polygons for track configurations, a path for pit road, and turn placemarks. You can get the KMZ set here.

Sandown's KMZ is ready

Parts of this track (the infield) were torn out to make room for a horse racing track, but the rest remains. I included turn placemarks, a path for the pit road, a polygon for the track, and an overlay for my map. You can get the KMZ set here.

KMZ for Tarumã in Brazil

The track is Autódromo Internacional de Tarumã. Not a whole lot here, but I did make an overlay, created a polygon for the track, a path for pit lane, and turn placemarks. Plus, I added 16 layouts and turn placemarks for a kart track inside the main track. You can get the KMZ here.
